Notes: Product was tested using BrinterONE Pneumatool.

 

General guidelines:

Add silicone first to a glass decanter using a spoon. Weight the outcome. Then tare and add the right amount of solvent and the curing agent by pouring since these are more viscous materials. Mix well using small spatula and avoid bubble formation. Solution can wait in dark to clear out the air bubbles if they are present. Load the material into the syringe using general guidelines.

 

Tested printing parameters and general starting point:

UV curing wavelength: 365nm constant curing or layer-by-layer depending on the model

100% Intensity in both. 6 second duration in layer-by-layer mode

Needle: 0.2mm/200µm (Nordson 200um UV shielded, black)

Syringe: UV shielded Amber (Nordson)

Pressure: approx. 800 mbars

Temperature: RT – 25C (tube)

Print bed: 37C

First layer: 0.15mm (bottom)

Layer height: 0.2mm (same as ID of the nozzle)

Preflow time delay: 200 msec

Diluted LSR2030 may require lower pressure. Needles with higher ID require lower pressure.
